Our lives move at such a fast pace and we tend to be “TOO MUCH” of everything. We tend to be “too overwhelmed, over-worked and too exhausted”. In fact, we’re losing track of how we should treat, take and juggle things. And because of that we’re confusing self-compassion with being selfish and it’s damaging not only to us, but also to those around us.
We deserve to be treated with kindness and compassion, and it needs to start with YOU. If we aren’t compassionate with ourselves, then it’s virtually impossible for us to: (a) have the energy to take care of others, and (b) model this for anyone in our circle.
One of the reasons why I treat myself is to make myself HAPPY. We all deserve happiness in all these struggles in life. Life can be a Rollercoster sometimes, but you can make a positive change with that by simply starting treating and loving yourself right.
We’re 1 day closer in welcoming 2017. And we all want to start another year with positivity in life. It’s about time to do little things to yourself right. Instead of smoking that cigarette, wasting your time doing nothing, or wrapping your mind in a cocoon of stress. Instead, think of ways to indulge on but prolly good.
To get you inspired, below are five ways that I usually do in treating myself right and in making myself happy:
1.) Take 5-10 mins of your time every morning or evening to appreciate yourself.
Appreciate what you do and think positive. Life is tough but we can always make our thoughts positively change by creating your own imaginary thoughts like dreaming about your future, looking forward for your plans or creating ideas that simply can help to improve your everyday life.
2.) Be kinder towards others
For me the way you think about and treat others is often the way you think about and treat yourself. So choose to be kinder towards others. Over the time, you’ll do the same thing to yourself too. Avoid “Ranting” about negativity in life specially on your social media platforms Because it can create problems or destroy your image. Always appreciate and help each other to maintain its positive relationship in each other.
3.) Be your own Bestfriend Always remember that “YOU”and “YOURSELF” is your own bestfriend. Don’t beat yourself up, that will erode your self-esteem. Be a kind and supportive friend to yourself instead. If there is an opportunity in that goes by in the situation of your life. Then take that new knowledge you gain and move forward once again. Create your own happiness by appreciating yourself, Continue and pursue your passion and maintaing to be happy by taking care of yourself.
4.) Laugh Break I do this everytime! Hahaha Because I don’t want to end my day on a silly boring note, I usually seek for memes on Twitter or Facebook and Taking 5-10 minutes of my time in a day to have a humor moment. You can do this in middle of your day or if that is not possible then use your morning or evening. Use your smart phone, portable media player, computer or TV and watch a funny clip that you know makes you laugh. It helps and it makes you on a positive vibe and It finds to be one of the most effective things that I do to recharge my energy and optimism and to release inner tensions.
5.) It’s never too late to change Think about what you really want in the rest of your life instead. – Make Plans – Create Ideas – Take notes – Improve everyday – Seek for challenge – Challenge yourself
These thoughts will definitely gonna help you in stablishing not just yourself, but also your life. I have a lots of experience in this world, it’s been a rollercoaster ride for a Dgrazon. But I usually think that nobody can help me but own myself. It’s only me who can help myself grow .I can learn from my past experiences and I can recover from my mistakes. That’s why ” It’s never too late to change” yourself for the better.
Now guys by reminding yourself of the benefits you can have in having that self-compassion such as better real life results, more perseverance, higher self-esteem, more inner happiness and stillness, more positive relationships with yourself and other people it becomes easier to stay kind to yourself through life’s natural ups and downs. Always have that positive mind and think that you can do it. Nothing is impossible and we’re all gonna start from the bottom. Keep your heads up and always challenge yourself, You can do it !
